PARTY

Party far far away.... Sund municipality
7 August 2010

Today I took the buss with Torbjørn, Andreas, Stine and some more people for forever to get to Kariann. She was home alone and decided that is was time for another party for us Media kids.
It was so much fun! I think the buss ride took close to 1,5 hours but it was okay. Torbjørn and I found out that we meet 4 years ago in my cousin’s confirmation.

We had so much fun this day. We ended up at the play ground, found a tractor, a bike, a trumpet and some other stuff that was so much fun to play with.
The only down side with this day was that Anniken still had a LOT of energy 4 o’clock in the morning and were singing Sing Star.

Tilbake i Norge

Så nå har jeg vært i Norge i en måned, og det føles så godt!
Føler jeg må gi en liten oppdatering på hva jeg har brukt den siste måneden på og her kommer oppdateringen. Bedre sent enn aldri!

So now I have been in Norway for a month, and it feels good!
I feel I have to give a little update on what I have spent the past month on and here it comes! Better late than never!

Good Bye America

Right now I’m sitting in a hallway with Monica and Mette and listen to music. We are here with 600 other foreign kids from all over the place. We are waiting for the bus to pick us up and bring us to the air port.

Still have 6 hour before my buss is leaving so I’m spending my time saying good bye to all my foreign friends here. I will miss you all!

Just some of the people I will miss...

I Love you so much!

Drive in Movies

23 June 2010

One of the best things about America is that they have a little bit of everything.
Right now Geneva is celebrating Sweden. They have Swedish days this week. So you can walk around and celebrate Sweden. They have Swedish flags in the streets, it's so nice!

Ina look's wierd at me

My new BFF and I

After celebrating Sweden I went to a drive in movie wit Caysea, Adam and Liz. It was so cool watching Toy Story wail I was sitting on top of Adams car! A wonderful experience!

Breakfast

22 June 2010

Just been eating breakfast and now I’m waiting for my mp3 player to charge so I can go to the fitness center and work out. Geneva has Swedish days this week. They celebrate Sweden for an entire week. So I have to work out so I can eat a lot of Swedish meet balls! Looking forward to it!

7 days left in America

The clock is turning 9 and it’s already starting to get dark outside. When I wake up tomorrow I will just have 7 days left as an exchange student in America. It’s weird. I have been thinking many times about how it will be to go back to Norway but never about how it will be to leave America. And now that I’m leaving I can tell you all that it sucks big time!
Ina and I were talking about it today and we both said that we would love to stay because of all the people that we will miss when we leave. The only problem is that there are so many people back home that we are already missing.
The perfect solution would be to take all the people that I got to know here in America and bring them to Norway.
But that’s the problem. Even if I stayed in America, all the people that I got to know will be gone. They are going to college, some one not even in Illinois.
So I guess that this experience is something that just could happen this year. It’s just so sad seeing it come to an end.
