Tyskland neste

Høstferie 2010
Nå er det fredag og jeg sitter hos Pappa med en kald cola glass flaske og på tv surrer tv Norge. I morgen starter del to av mitt utvekslings eventyr.

And we also collared Rikke and Frank’s hair.

Happy Birthday Morgan!!

My little American sister is 9 years old today!
20 Aug 2010

Today I had my first school day with “normal” subjects. I had 2 hour with Norwegian, 2 hours of English and I’m just mentioning that the English teacher is from Denmark and her goal for us this year is to count in Danish. Then we had lunch for 45 min, then gym. Are gym teacher are planning a block day with gym for us. We are going on a hike in mountains. That will be fun! And after 2 hours of gym we had 2 hours of Social studies. But the teacher decided to let us leave early.

Then it just was to hurry home and turn the computer on! Morgan, my little sister in America became 9 today so we had a plan for a long time to Skype on this day. It was so nice to see her again!

Morgan

Then I went to Iben. She is leaving on Sunday for school. She is going to Voss for “folkehøyskole”. So we were sitting there that night. So many weird people stopped by that night! But it was nice. Meet some new people. I’m glad she is just going to Voss and not further away.

First day at school

Laksevåg her I come!
19 Aug 2010

Yesterday was my first school day at Laksevåg high school. I meet a boy already at the buss to school that told me he was starting second year at Laksevåg Media and communication too, so now I don’t have to take the bus by my self.  Henrik, one of my good friends from middle school ( 8 – 10 grade ) are also starting at Lakevåg this year, but he will be studying general studies.

The first day was okay. We just introduced us self and went through a few rules had lunch and talked some more.

Today, my second day was not a real day! I was at school for a talk with my contact teacher for 20 min and then I was done for today.
After this Henrik and I took the bus to Kleppestø and walked around there before we decided to walk up to are middle school to visit the teachers. We came in the middle of lunch break so we didn’t find the teachers before after lunch was done. It was so nice talking to them again.
Kari invited us inn and we talked to the class about are exam in 10th grade, about high school and what we are planning to do in the future. Always so nice to see her!

After this I went to Godvik where I took the first bath in Norway.  It was cold the first time, second time was a lot better!

3 days left

I’m so excited about school!
15 Aug 2010

Yesterday I had a plan about telling you all about what I did that day, but then I just had to play Sims. I was so bored 2 days ago so I installed Sims 2 on the school computer. I had Sims 2 on my old computer but I think Mom have that one. I do have Sims 3 on the school computer but….
I had the game with the cd and everything and I brought it with me to America and never played it there, then I remember I brought it with me home too, but now I can’t find it! Sims 2 just has to do. But I Love Sims 2! Even when I think about how much wasted of time it is to play that game, I still can’t stop loving it!
So because I played Sims I never got to share with you all that I had a wonderful day with Sara. We bought a pizza, hot chocolate and we saw Shrek 3.
BTW if you are going to the cinema and don’t know what movie to see, Shrek was a good movie! You should see it!

Today I woke up at 9.30. I found out that if I woke up early this morning I will fall a sleep early tonight and then wake up early tomorrow too and then be ready and not tired when school starts on Wednesday. But school doesn’t start until 10 so I have good time anyway.

The reason I woke up so early was because I had plans with Karoline today. She has been modeling for me and we had a nice picnic.

We also spend 1,5h in Kleppestø because the bus for me and Karoline didn’t go at the same time. But it was nice!
I also saw this gas station I thought about it; you have never seen something like this.

It is a gas station for boats and cars. You see, the gas station is so close to the water that the boat can get gas from it.

6 Days

6 Days until school starts again!!
12 Aug 2010

Yesterday I looked at my calendar ( well I don’t have a calendar but my phone works ) and I found out that it was a week until school started. So many things popped up in my head. Things like, SHIT I don’t know anyone! Then I was thinking about how many opportunities that gives me to mess around. Maybe I should tell then I just moved to Bergen from Oslo and make them show me around! Could be fun!

A also was thinking about what to wear!
I don’t care the other 189 school days there is in a Norwegian school year but I care about the first one. Something that Andreas don’t understand since we just are at school for one or two hours that day. But the first day is a little important. I feel.
So today Hallgjerd and I went shopping in Bergen.  It was a lot of fun. I haven’t seen her in a year. She was also an exchange student in America. It was nice to finally been able to talk to someone that been experienced the same thing that I have.

Then after been out shopping and I came back to Askøy I went to the fitness center or as I would say one year ago fitness mal.

Then I skyped with one of my good friends from America, Emily. It was so nice to see her again! She has been camping in Canada since I left America and she had some interesting stories to chare with me.

Haha Emily look at little bit crazy but she didn’t know I took the picture.

Hardanger

It’s a place were they have gokarts ( gocarts ?? )
8 August 2010

This morning was hopefully not one of many this fall.
I woke up at 7.30 to take a shower and to wake up the rest of the house. Everybody that was at the party slept over, except Pål. It was kind of a problem because he just disappeared. But don’t worry! He is just fine! No serial killer on Sund. Just a lot of sheep.

It was a nice party. I think Kariann will need to explain to her grandmother that lives next door why all this “nice and quite” teenagers made so much noise.
But who can complain about Sing Star and trumpet?

Back to my morning.
8.40 Torbjørn, Fay, Andreas, Stine and I were on the buss stop waiting for the buss so we could go home. Probably scaring the locals, I don’t think it ever have been so many strangers out there.
Andreas and I were at his house at 10. So the buss ride took a looooong time!
Then we eat breakfast and slept a bit more before the rest of the house were ready to leave, we drove to Hardanger to drive gokarts ( gocarts ) I can’t find out how to spell that ( it gets red line in Word ) but I assume you all understand me despite some mistakes.

Btw are you one of my friends from America you should google Hardanger. It is one of douse places you would go if you visited Norway.

It was a lot of fun! I believed I would be so bad at driving gocarts but I think I was good! Before we started my goal was not to crash. But that didn’t work since ANDREAS drove right in me. Haha, it was of course my mistake! It wasn’t!

After this we drove to some place were we picking berries and eat dinner. Chinese food will never be the same after I eat real Chinese food in china town, Chicago.
But I have to say I like the “fake” Chinese food better. I don’t think I ever will like chicken feet better than fried noodles. I love fried noodles.

... and I made this
